Mailing Lists

CovLUG has two mailings lists:

  • tech: Discussion on Linux, Open Source Software (OSS), hardware or any other topics related to Open Source. Questions, requests for help and general advice should be posted here. This list is archived.
  • chat:' Off-topic messages and general chat amongst the LUG members - including arrangements of social or beverage meetings. Everything which is not suitable on the 'tech' list should be posted here. This list is not archived.

You are welcome to subscribe to either or both lists; we recommend both - posts are not duplicated between the lists.

Both lists are unmoderated, but good manners are expected from all users. Note there may be children on the lists so please post responsibly. Guidelines will be mailed to you when you subscribe - make sure you read them!
